We make the conscious decision to not vaccum seal our truffles, this leads them to develop a white fluff, it may look odd but its perfectly healthy and safe to eat. Keeping them fresh helps maintain potency and cause the least gastrointestinal problems as possible.

In the Netherlands, truffles are covered by the NVWA, which will monitor and control them together with the Ministry of Health.
