Product Overview
The Jack Frost Growkit (1200cc) features a famous hybrid strain created by crossing Albino Teacher with Penis Envy. Renowned for its stunning aesthetic, this true albino variety forms heavy, snow-white fruits with caps that curl upward at maturity to reveal pale, icy-blue gills. Before You Start
Hygiene is essential to prevent contamination. Always follow these steps before handling your grow kit:
-
Wash your hands and forearms thoroughly with soap.
-
Clean and sanitize your workspace.
-
Avoid touching the exposed mycelium directly with bare hands.
Setup Instructions
-
Soak: Carefully pour 900 ml of water into the grow kit and let it soak for 12 hours.
-
Drain: Gently drain out all excess water after 12 hours.
-
Bag Prep: Add 150 ml of water to the fruiting bag, then place the plastic container inside on top of the water layer.
-
Mist: Lightly spray the top layer of the substrate and the inside walls of the bag.
-
Seal: Inflate the bag with fresh air and fold the top closed, securing it with the paperclip.
-
Location: Store in a space with indirect light and a constant temperature between 24 to 27°C.
Maintenance & Flushing
-
First Flush (Days 0–21): Open the bag every 2 to 3 days to mist the kit and refresh the air inside before resealing. Once the first mushroom pins appear, mist and provide fresh air every 4 to 5 days.
-
Harvesting: Harvest when desired, always remembering to clean your hands and workspace prior to touching the kit.
-
Subsequent Flushes: Repeat the soaking and misting procedure for the 2nd and 3rd flushes.
Quick Troubleshooting Tips
-
Temperature: Keep temperatures stable between 24–27°C. Inconsistent heat slows growth and damages the mycelium.
-
Lighting: Avoid direct sunlight; a 12-hour light / 12-hour dark cycle yields best results.
-
Moisture & Airflow: Ensure the kit never dries out, while maintaining enough air exchange to prevent elevated CO2 levels and mold.
