It is believed to have been first used by ancient civilizations in regions such as Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt- revered for it mood-lifting and anti-inflammatory properties. Our ceremonial cacao's* rich, deep flavour complements saffron's delicate floral notes.

*Ceremonial grade cacao refers to premium-quality beans. They go through minimal processing and are distinct from commercial cocoa products.

INGREDIENTS

Cacao (Theobroma cacao), Cacao butter, Combination of spices (Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cloves, and Amazonian Chillies), Saffron (Crocus Sativus) 300mg extract per portion

CONTENTS

Net weight: 400 g (8 ceremonial portions of 50 g each)

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix one portion (daily dose =10-20g, ceremonial dose = 50 g) with your favorite vegetable milk or water to create ceremonial cocoa rituals to your preference.

Storage advice: Store in a cool, dry place, from direct sunlight.

Blooming: It is possible that you may notice a pale or whitish coating on the surface of your cacao, which is a completely natural process called blooming. Because we sell our cacao raw, it remains an active product that can react to temperature shifts, which sometimes causes its natural fats to rise to the surface. This is actually a sign of absolute purity because we use no artificial stabilizers or preservatives, meaning the premium taste and quality stay exactly the same.
